IT STARTED WITH ONE BURGER.

Growing up, David Myers was always surrounded by seasonal ingredients and home-cooked food. His mom’s 1940s burger recipe was a firm favorite which David went on to adapt for his West LA bistro in the late noughties. A big hit, the burger quickly garnered nationwide recognition, with The New York Times calling it “The Perfect Burger” and LA Times saying it was the burger to beat. 

FROM LA TO TOKYO TO DUBAI.

As David took his restaurant business global, so did the legend of his celebrated burger recipe. Featured on his menus in Tokyo, Singapore and Dubai, the famed burger continued to draw attention. One Food & Wine journalist went as far as travelling halfway across the world to “reunite with (her) soulmate – a burger!”.

A BRAND IS BORN.

In 2020, at the height of the global pandemic, David launched his long-time dream project – ADRIFT Burger Bar™ – in his hometown neighbourhood, Venice Beach with a mission to bring joy to his community. Within a year, the brand was exported to Dubai where it was celebrated as one of the most successful restaurant brands at Expo 2020. In 2023, the brand will touch down in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.
